How do I convert LPA to monthly in-hand salary?
Take the CTC, remove employer PF and gratuity to get gross salary, then subtract your PF, professional tax and income tax, and divide by 12. The chart does this for common salary levels; the calculator does it for your exact offer.
Up to what CTC is there no income tax in FY 2026-27?
Under the new regime, taxable income up to ₹12 lakh pays no tax after the rebate, and salaried people first get a ₹75,000 standard deduction. With PF and gratuity inside CTC, that means a CTC up to about 13.9 LPA pays no income tax with common defaults.
Why do two people with the same LPA get different in-hand pay?
Offer letters split CTC differently: basic pay share, PF on full basic or on the ₹15,000 ceiling, gratuity and insurance inside CTC, and variable pay paid once a year all change the monthly credit.
